Greetings Celtic Music Lovers,

I had a busy couple o’months here in beautiful Birmingham. My wife started Grad school. I had a couple big out-of-town gigs. Now I am mixing and mastering my next album of hobbit drinking songs called Don’t Go Drinking With Hobbits.

The biggest news of all is that I am now a full-time, stay-at-home dad. I don’t have time to do much else. That’s why I’m running behind on a few projects. However, I released a new episode of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. I’m also slowly catching up on my online promotions.

Over the past couple months, I posted a few new free Celtic MP3s. I even started a new podcast to more easily distribute these MP3s. It costs nothing to subscribe. Just click the link below or copy or paste it into your podcatcher.

Oh! I’m happy to announce that we are finally catching up on CD reviews. I have an awesome team helping me make that happen!

Talk to you soon. Slainte!

Attention Celtic Writers

Our team of Celtic reviewers and writers is growing every month. We have a LOT of new CD reviews done and more coming. However, I still have over sixty albums that need reviewing. We need YOUR help!

We are looking for CD reviewers. You don’t have to be a professional writer. You just need to be a self-starter who loves to write.

So please support your Celtic community and get involved. Contact your editor@celticmp3s.com for more details.

All purchases through Amazon via the links below also help support the magazine as well.

You can see a full list of featured bands and find all of my CDs in my Celtic Music CD Store at www.celticmusic.org.

Review: “Hell-Bent 4 Victory by Amadan

Of all the spin-off genres of Celtic music, perhaps rock and punk are the best. If those early Irish and Scottish musicians had electric guitars, I’m sure they would have used them. It’s just something about the attitude in Celtic …Continue reading ?

Review: “Hooligans and Saints” by Charm City Saints

If the Dropkick Murphys had stayed underground and never attached their music to a Dave Mirra game, they’d look a lot like the Charm City Saints. They’re a boon to the Indy Irish Punk genre, and this album from 2009 … Continue reading ?
